The industrial production index measures the real output of all facilities located in the United States that are engaged in manufacturing, mining, and electric and gas utilities, excluding those in US territories. Published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in the G.17 release and distributed through FRED as INDPRO. Monthly, seasonally adjusted, 2017 = 100.
