Number of orbital launches in the calendar year with Launch Library 2 status Success, meaning the launch vehicle inserted its payload into the target orbit. Partial failures (payload reached a wrong orbit) and failures are excluded here and counted in the attempts metric. Counted from Launch Library 2 launch records whose net launch time falls in the calendar year, with suborbital flights excluded by the API (include_suborbital=false) and status Success, Failure or Partial Failure (the vehicle lifted off). Launches still marked Go, TBD or Hold are not counted.
